Why Vote for Katie?

With a long history of standing up for the rights of individuals, Katie has proven that she has the experience, dedication, and principles to make Christian County a more enticing place to live.

Government Knowledge

With years of experience working on campaigns, as well as various roles on state boards and commissions, Katie has the knowledge and insight needed to keep the county government focused and on task. Most importantly, she learned how government agencies can save taxpayer dollars by being good stewards of your money.

Unique Approach

For decades, county government has pushed their values ON the community without concern for the values OF the community.  Wasteful spending and protecting the powerful will be a thing of the past.  More freedom, lower taxes, and smaller government will be a unique approach to Christian County politics.

Community Presence

Katie has been an advocate and leader in Christian County for almost 2 decades, and will continue to be. She served as a board member for Hopkinsville Community College, is a local business owner, and even led the effort to expand on our small, local meat processing facilities during her term on the Ky Agriculture Development Board.

Protecting your Freedom

Your freedoms are Katie's top priority.  Whether that means protecting your family by any means necessary or keeping the government off your land, Katie's goal is to maximize your freedom and minimize your tax burden.

About Katie

Born in Pennsylvania, Katie moved to Kentucky when she was 14 to begin her new life as an Army Brat in Hopkinsville.  She quickly fell in love with the natural beauty of Christian County, and decided to stay here after college.  She graduated from Christian County High School, Hopkinsville Community College, and Eastern Kentucky University, receiving her degree in Criminal Justice and with a background in Chemistry.

She met her husband Alexander in Hopkinsville, settled down in North Christian County and together they brought three incredible children into the world.  Alexander -- an immigrant from Russia -- gave Katie a unique education on what it means to live under Communism, and lit a fire in Katie's soul to fight that model at every level.

Katie fought hard against the "Good Ol Boy System" to legalize hemp in Kentucky, paving the way for a new industry and a new commodity for farmers.  She started a successful hemp business from scratch, and was recently elected as President of the Kentucky Hemp Association.
